My current project is a fantasy about a werewolf school teacher and a theocracy. It is coming along slowly, but I hope to have the first draft done sometime this summer.

Other projects in various stages include: several short speculative pieces, a fictional memoir about working in Iraq, and a dark fantasy about a gargoyle. I suspect that everything will come to a screeching halt for two months while I virtually attend James Gunn's science fiction writing workshop.

My short story, "A Simple Matter", will appear in Crossed Genres' humor themed issue coming out in April. Check it out.
